I is for Iceland



I have decided to do Iceland for I (the country not the frozen food retailer) 😂 . Iceland has one of the healthiest diets in the world, not too shabby for a country that has to import much of it's produce!


Icelandic's eat lots of oily fish such as salmon and herring containing that all important omega-3. These fatty acids are good for heart health and also help keep you fuller for longer. One iconic Icelandic dish is Harðfiskur, a dried fish often served with wholegrain, charcoal bread containing plenty of fibre. Icelanders also have a high intake of vegetables and rarely eat processed foods 😇


So if you want to be healthy eat like an Icelandic! 🐟🥕🥗 🥔 🍞
